Optel is currently recruiting many Technical Support Specialists. The technician’s main mandate is solving technical problems on our systems. They will work with the latest technologies in machine vision solutions.


  • Assist customers in solving their technical problems in order to offer a customer experience of the highest standards;
  • Use in-house tools to simulate the problems faced by our customers, run diagnostics and find solutions;
  • Document the resolved problems to build a shared knowledge base and contribute to the continuous improvement of the department.
  • Must be willing to work in an on-call rotation.


  • College diploma in a technical field or equivalent job experience;
  • English fluency required and bilingualism considered a plus;
  • Experience of 2 years in customer relationship management;
  • Knowledge of SAP (an asset).


  • Have a good sense of organization and of priorities;
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Knowledge in computer science (Active Directory, python or scripting, XML, SQL, network, and application support);
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical field (an asset).
