SUMMARY
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented mechanical designer to join our dynamic team. The person holding the position must reside in Quebec as an on-site presence is necessary from time to time.

YOUR TASKS
- Design and develop mechanical systems: study of the project requirements, design, design revision and challenge, manufacturing launch, assemblies and tests monitoring during the project
- Participate in the selection of mechanical components, technologies, materials and manufacturing processes to meet time, cost and quality objectives
- Ensure internal clients’ satisfaction (Product Owners, Operations, etc.)
- Work closely with other departments to obtain feedback, analyze recurring issues and propose corrective actions
- Provide technical support for operations and after-sales service
- Other related tasks
PROFESIONNAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Recognized knowledge and expertise in mechanical manufacturing (machining and sheet metal) as well as assembly and commissioning of mechanical systems
- Good understanding of mechanical principles, geometrical tolerance, pneumatics, material resistance and risk analysis
- Experience in 3D modeling
- Leadership skills, organization and priority management skills to be able to bring innovative solutions while maximizing reliability and cost
- Good communicator with peers and suppliers
- Knowledge of Solidworks an asset
- Ability to work in a team and within tight deadlines
- Fluent in French (Written and spoken)
- Functional English (Written and spoken)
