Certa™delivers pharmacists with an immediate solution for European Union Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) compliance while delivering the highest quality of patient care.
Preparing for Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) compliance is a complex process and most would agree that finding an all-in-one supplier or a machine that can handle all aspects of the serialisation project would be very practical- but is this feasible? With different lines, different packaging, different departments and sometimes different countries involved, simplification is a vital factor in the supplier-selection decision. But beyond compliance and legal requirements, traceability could also offer a competitive advantage, as it plays a vital role in the 4th industrial revolution. Combining intelligent sensors and automation, real-time digital information, and physical product details generated by vision and inspection systems can be extremely powerful. Traceability provides product pedigrees to prove quality and authenticity. How? Through the connectivity of Industry 4.0.
