The purchaser’s main mandate is to carry out purchases of material for the company and help manage the inventory.


  • Purchase parts from current suppliers;
  • Research potential suppliers;
  • Negotiate prices;
  • Negotiate purchasing terms;
  • Manage delays in merchandise delivery;
  • Manage merchandise return in case of non-conformity reports;
  • Manage incoming and outgoing inventory parts;
  • Manage inventory


  • College diploma in a relevant field;
  • 5 years of experience in supply management;
  • Knowledge of electronics;
  • Good English skills (SILA 7);
  • Knowledge of mechanics (an asset);
  • Knowledge of optics (an asset);
