Manufacturing Operations
SUMMARY
The purchaser’s main mandate is to carry out purchases of material for the company and help manage the inventory.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Purchase parts from current suppliers;
- Research potential suppliers;
- Negotiate prices;
- Negotiate purchasing terms;
- Manage delays in merchandise delivery;
- Manage merchandise return in case of non-conformity reports;
- Manage incoming and outgoing inventory parts;
- Manage inventory
REQUIRED SKILLS
- College diploma in a relevant field;
- 5 years of experience in supply management;
- Knowledge of electronics;
- Good English skills (SILA 7);
- Knowledge of mechanics (an asset);
- Knowledge of optics (an asset);
