The Manufacturing Systems Engineer is responsible for improving processes, tools and solutions through the engineering change process of the Manufacturing Engineering team. In addition, he must analyze the various issues of manufacturing systems that must involve several multi-disciplinary teams (sales, bids, planning, project management, software, etc.)


  • Maintain and optimize manufacturing and operational databases (SAP, submission tools, design standards, etc.)
  • Quickly understands manufacturing production and design issues and challenges related to data
  • Participates in the optimization of tools, processes and solutions through the technical change process 
  • Analyzes and defines the various issues manufacturing systems
  • Proposes concrete solutions, implements them and with the help of the various teams involved
  • Is the technical reference in terms of manufacturing tools, design, manufacturing system (SAP), planning tools and prices/costs
  • Communicates the changes needed for the different teams


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (strongly recommended) or relevant experience;
  • Experience in design and manufacturing systems (ERP);
  • Lean experience (an asset);
  • Experience in data management (an asset);
  • Skill and ease in computer systems;
  • Advanced level of English, both oral and written;
  • The ability to work in a team;
  • Be able to work on several projects simultaneously;
