POSITION OVERVIEW;

The Account Director’s main mandate is to sell products produced by the OPTEL Group to customers located in his/her defined territory.

We are looking for candidates who are autonomous, dynamic, and have varied experiences and skills. Successful candidates must be able to thrive in a small and agile team, working on emerging and innovative products. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;

  • Develops opportunities with their network of contacts for assigned customer groups (Europe).
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with strategic clients in their target markets.
  • Develops positioning strategies, based on market knowledge to drive sales growth.
  • Identifies and facilitates the communication of new offers, improvements and/or product additions to our customers.
  • Provides proactive customer service to increase customer satisfaction and create new business opportunities, including analyzing and solving customer challenges.
  • Evaluates customer needs and makes recommendations to improve the quality of our products and services.
  • Develops and maintains its network of contact with decision-makers.    
  • Identifies and plays an active role in associations that are leaders in its market.
  • Acts as a key member of the global account team and works closely with the implementation team when onboarding new clients.
  • Provides status updates to our sales and management team on current customer status and potential customer opportunities.
  • Keep your customer information and opportunities up to date in our CRM (Salesforce).
  • Works with our sales team, customer service, and accounting to ensure timely processing of purchase orders and manage billing issues for assigned customer groups.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Excel in communication and collaborative work.
  • Excellent customer orientation and networking skills.
  • More than 3 -5  years of experience related to the position.
  • Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories.
  • Knowledge in the European automobile and EV eco-system.
  • Up to date on the latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently.
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Salesforce.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Fluent in English and, German language also desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of clientele and superior customer service skills.
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
  • Knowledgeable of the sales process from initiation to close.
  • Solid negotiation skills and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with clients and management.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and manage priorities for many simultaneous projects.
  • Adaptability, versatility, and flexibility.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Traveling 50-65% of his/her time.
