Working within an Agile structure, the Software Quality Assurance Leader is responsible for defining and communicating the best practices in software quality. The incumbent leads and supervises a team of analysts in software quality, with whom he ensures the cohesion of the tests by maximizing coverage and minimizing testing and test maintenance times.

• Develop and promote a pragmatic approach to software quality assurance
• Train software quality analysts
• Encourage the optimal use of the different tools in place
• Set and maintain performance indicators that support a continuous improvement process for the entire team
• Perform annual performance reviews for the software quality analysts and prepare an improvement or development plan, if necessary
• Play an active role in the recruitment process for software quality analysts
• Promote best practices and corporate culture
• Suggest improvements to our current processes and contribute to the deployment of solutions

• Bachelor’s degree in software or computer engineering
• 3 to 5 years of experience in team management as team manager or team leader
• Experience in Object-oriented programming
• Bilingual: English and French (spoken and written)

• A contagious passion for software quality
• Knowledge and understanding of best practices in software quality assurance
• Ability to lead, rally, and manage a team
• Ability to provide the support required to reach set objectives
• Ability to adapt to change and deal with ambiguous issues
• Advanced communication skills, both oral and written
